Maura Agnes Spohr (nee McElroy), age 80, died August the 24th at her Crestview Hills residence. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Spohr,III and a brother Patrick McElroy and her parents Francis and Mona McElroy.

Survivors include her daughters Susan Laux of Hamilton, Ohio; Stephanie Sciamanna of Florence; Mary Ellen Imm of Cincinnati and Bryn Heathman of Montclair ,NJ; a son George Spohr IV of Cincinnati; sisters Sheila Carroll ,Mona Bennett, brothers Phil and James McElroy all of Dublin , Ireland.
She was the grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Saturday August 27, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington, KY, preceded by a brief visitation from 9:30am until time of Mass. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.
