Robert W. O'Brien, 86, of Batavia, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati East. He was born February 25, 1930 in Cincinnati, son of the late William and Jeannette Fultz O'Brien. He was married to Susan Miller O'Brien, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Children, Elaine (Chris) Barnett, Bill O'Brien, Rudi (Jim) Noschang and Jennifer Schumacher; grandchildren, Andrew (Megan) O'Brien, Alex and Christine LaDuca, Laura (Brandon) Burkitt, Madison and John Shumacher, Rachel and Jessica Noschang; great grandchildren, Liam O'Brien and Parker Burkitt as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine Hesselbrock, Jeannette Joyce and Betty Creelman and one brother, Jack O'Brien.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM, until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 800 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Symmes Township. Arrangements are by E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.
