HARRY TALKERS, 86, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2017. Beloved husband of 44 years to the late Ursula Talkers (nee Wagner), loving father of Ralph (Rene) Talkers MD, Elizabeth (Bill) Hausfeld, and Jeff (Annie) Talkers. Cherished “Opa” of Alexandria (Dustin) Ronto, Nick (Jessica) Talkers, Luke (Valerie) Talkers, Sam (Diana) Talkers, Stefanie (Jon) Staudt, Eric (Chloe) Hausfeld, Courtney Hausfeld, Alison, Evan, Molly, Hannah, and Claire Talkers. Loving great grandfather “Opes” to Mason, Cordelia, Ruby, Jack, Henry, Myles, and Baby Talkers. Dear brother of the late Maria Loepker and Herman Talkers. Dearest companion to Heddy Freese and brother-in-law of Janet (Heinz) Kuhl along with countless friends.

Harry was born in Lingen Ems, Germany and came to the U.S. in 1951. He was a proud Army Veteran, retiree of Procter & Gamble, a 60+ year member and past president of the Catholic Kolping Society and an avid soccer fan/coach. Harry was instrumental in developing youth soccer in Cincinnati starting in 1965.

Gathering of family and friends Fri. March 24th from 9:00am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church (5560 Kirby Rd, 45239).
