Nancy T. Kayser, a longtime resident of Amelia, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Madge and Richard Tackenberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Kayser, her sister, Judith Tackenberg-Heglin and her son-in-law, Ron Lacy.

Nancy is survived by her children, Richard James Kayser, Kathleen Lacy, Teresa (Tere) Lynn Diehl and Maribeth (Greg) Gromek. She was the grandmother of Shelby DeHart, Ryan (Trisha) Kayser, Elizabeth (Adam) Whitacre, Benjamin, Jonathan and Patrick Diehl, Emma and Abigail Gromek, great-grandmother of Drue and Kennedy Glaser, Landon and Nolan Kayser, Madalyn and Gracie Whitacre and Kolton Gromek. Also survived by Rob Heglin, Karrianne Folk, Kim and Tom Applegate and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and her former daughter-in-law Trish Szabo and former son-in-law, Bob Miller.

There will be a Memorial Gathering at St. Bernadette Church Amelia on Friday, December 29, from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.
