Jack M. Morris, 86, of Cold Spring, passed away on March 11, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY. Jack was the owner of Morris Enterprises. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring, where he served as a Chairman of the Deacons and he was instrumental in the building of the new church.

He was the owner of Morris Tile Company, Hidden Valley Apartments, and Perkins Pancake. He also owned the Highland Motel, Flagg Springs Golf Course, and was a board member of 5th/3rd Bank and the Northern Kentucky Baptist Association. He coached little league football, baseball, and basketball. He implemented the building of the NKU baseball field, he was a Kentucky Colonel and he proudly served in the US Army Reserve.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Morris, and his sister Shirley Newberry.

He is survived by his sons, Steve (Cindy) Morris, and John Morris, his daughters, Bonny (George) Kees, Linda (late Jim) Measner, and Jackie (Jim) Daley, and his sisters Jean Clear, and Donna Curry. Jack is also survived by his grandchildren, Kelly Morris Heisler (John) , DJ Morris, Jarod (Amy) Kees, Jorden Kees Futscher (Jordan), Erin Kees Comfort ( Austen), Abby Measner Patrick (Daniel), Gabe Measner (Hayley) Molly Measner, Gideon Measner, Jake Daley, Joel (Emily) Daley, Jesse Daley, Josie Daley, Jackson Daley, Chris Morris, Corey (Becca) Morris, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring. Funeral Ceremony will be held 10:00 am Friday, March 16, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Cold Spring. Burial will be in the Alexandria Cemetery.
