Catherine R. Halenkamp, age 96, passed away on July 22, 2014. She was the loving wife of the late Robert J. Halenkamp Sr. Beloved mother of Robert Halenkamp Jr. (Linda), Mary Cox, Jeannie Saulino, John Halenkamp Sr. (Jeanie), Therese Steinmetz (Steve), Lawrence Halenkamp (Debbie), and David Halenkamp. Catherine was the loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her siblings William Dorning II, Leonard Dorning, Hazel Schumacher, and Jack Dorning.

Catherine was member of Blessed Sacrament Church for over 47 years. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family and she also took pleasure in volunteering at the Parish Kitchen and helping with the Right to Life Organization.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 9 – 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am. Burial at St. John Cemetery.
