Edward Dean Moore was born June 7, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away Nov. 3, 2024 in Elsmere, Kentucky at the age of 76. He was the son of the late Paul and Mabel Lynch Moore.
On August 20, 1983, Ed was united in marriage to the love of his life, Teresa Marie James Moore; she survives. In addition to his wife, Terri, of 41 years, Ed is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Marie (Robert C., III) Bell of Walton and Stephanie Ann (Anthony Lee) Young of Falmouth; a sister: Vicky Moore; and 10 grandchildren: Katelyn Noll, Krista Noll, Michael Dearing, Gunnar Dearing, Robert C. Bell, IV, Ashton Young, Evlyn Bell, Pippa Young, Benson Bell and Phoenix Young.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy Moore and Paul "Chip" Moore.
Ed was an office supply salesman for Fred Felix Company as well as Creative Dimensions. He also owned his own company, EDM Business Interiors, in Florence for several years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Union. He also served his community in several other ways. He was a member of the Boone Co. Soil Conservation Board and a former member of the Boone/Kenton Water Rescue Team.
When Ed wasn't working and serving his community he had many pastimes that he enjoyed. He was an avid hunter and golfer. He also enjoyed scuba diving. But his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 10272 US 42, Union, KY. Burial will be 12:00 PM, Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
